About Belinda Yan

Belinda founded Presidio Search Group in 2014 and has worked with investment management clients for more than twenty-five years. She specializes in the recruitment of investment and distribution professionals for endowments, foundations, private equity and venture capital firms, sovereign wealth funds, family offices, fund of funds and hedge funds. Belinda’s technical expertise spans all areas of investment management with a focus on private equity, venture capital, real assets, OCIO and absolute return strategies.

Belinda was most recently a senior member of the Jamesbeck Global Partners team in San Francisco.  Previously, she spent 15 years at Merrill Lynch & Co. which she joined via the acquisition of Smith New Court, PLC in 1995. Belinda was a Director of U.S. Institutional Equity Sales in Merrill Lynch's San Francisco office and a Director of International Equity Sales Trading in New York. 
 
Belinda is a Certified PRINT® coach.  She received her BA in Economics from The University of Michigan in 1991.
